    They hope to break attendance records. At least this way we can get tickets.

    Let's see if Tulane will still require a huge donation to the Tulane Athletic Foundation to get a ticket!:p

    I believe the record is right around 24,000 and that is held by 4 teams in The College World Series.

    The single-game record for college baseball attendance is 21,043 (TCU vs. Texas at the Ballpark at Arlington on March 4, 1996). The largest overall college baseball crowd was 24,859 for a two-game session featuring Miami, Alabama, Rice and Oklahoma State at the 1999 College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb.

    The largest Louisiana crowd for a college game is 13,695 (a tripleheader Feb. 25, 1996, featuring LSU, Tulane and UNO against Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Mississippi at the Superdome in the Winn-Dixie Showdown).
