Let's hold ourselves to the same definition of dynasty to which we held Pete Carroll. First thing's first. Gotta win and win and win.

This is a good year, but let's not jump ahead of ourselves.

have you not been paying attention?? Michigan is where his heart is...Miles is open about this. Money has nothing to do with it; although, I'm sure Michigan wont be too much, if any, of a pay cut.

Id be more worried about Pelini....who I think will be a head coach somewhere next year.

How bout this...lets sit back and enjoy this special thing we got going in 2007 and worry about everything else in February

This word gets thrown around way too much. UCLA basketball in the 60s and 70s was a dynasty.

LSU football under Les Miles is most certainly not a dynasty.

??? Miles is gettin paid plenty for what he has accomplished so far. Save the term "Dynasty" for a string of 3 or 4 MNCs. Walk away? Put yourself in his shoes, only reversed. How fast would you jump if LSU called?

With the success that Nick and Les have had at LSU, top coaches will beat a path to Baton Rouge. We will have no trouble hiring the best candidate available, probably stealing him from an unsuspecting school.

I don't think its certain that Les will leave. He has the experience of Nick and Spurrier to think about. Leaving a winning program is usually a mistake.

So, if Les leaves why not make Pelini the boss? I've heard it doesn't like recruiting, but couldn't assistants do most of that? Just a thought.:eek:ldskule:

and thats why Im not too worried about CLM bolting. Of any year, this year we have one of the hottest young coaches just waiting for his shot.

Like I said...lets enjoy this thing for now and worry about this in Feb. We will be fine. Its the hottest position in college football at the moment.
