Well that would make sense if they suspended players based on whether or not their problems resulted in arrests. But obviously that is not the case.

It's a business decision, obviously. If NFL fans were appalled and therefore would stop supporting teams and even the league, this kind of thing would end a player's career - quickly. However, like Rodman, it sells as long as he doesn't lose control and commit a felony. NFL fans get the thug they want and revere. Disturbing but completely predictable. It has had an impact on me. Dallas will never receive any direct money from me again. People want Cowboys gear as a present they will not get it from me again. I will not buy a game ticket where the Cowboys are playing. of course, in the big scheme of things. It does not matter at all. I now cheer against my old childhood team. Damn shame.
