    New Orleans Top Restaurants...
Welcome to New Orleans Top 10 Restaurants! Find out why New Orleans is a premier destination for great cuisine! Explore the wonderful menus and ambiance that all of these New Orleans restaurants have to offer!

ANTOINE'S RESTAURANT - 713-717 Rue Saint Louis, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130 USA. Telephone: (504) 581-4422, Fax: (504) 581-3003. Antoine's is one of the oldest restaurants in America .. and one of the first to put New Orleans cuisine on the map (who could forget that Folger's commercial!). The location, the service, and the food make it a great place to have dinner.

ARNAUD'S RESTAURANT - 813 Rue Bienville, New Orleans, LA 70112. Phone: 1-504-523-5433. This New Orleans restaurant leader of the culinary old guard is serving up tradition in a menu that benchmarks the Creole classics, many created here, such as succulent Oysters Bienville and Shrimp Arnaud, chilled boiled shrimp marinated in a homemade remoulade sauce.

BAYONA RESTAURANT - 430 Dauphine Street 525-4455. Fresh, clean and lively flavors flow from Chef Susan Spicer's creative contemporary American cuisine, served with professional skill in a comfortably chic renovated Creole cottage in the French Quarter. From appetizers to desserts, quality consistently reaches impressive levels.

BELLA LUNA RESTAURANT - 914 North Peters Street, New Orleans, LA 70116. Phone: (504) 529-1583. Bella Luna overlooks the Mississippi River and offer stunning views of the French Quarter and Downtown. But few places can provide the package of great food and perfect surroundings that Bella Luna does.

COMMANDER'S PALACE RESTAURANT - 1403 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. Phone: (504) 899-8221. A hidden jewel in the heart of New Orleans' Garden District, Commander's Palace is truly the finest dining experience in the world. Commander's gardens are well shaded and thick with lush greenery. Running water completes the serene setting with sounds that soothe the soul and set the mood for an unparalleled culinary adventure.

EMERIL'S RESTAURANT - 800 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, 70130 Reservations: (504) 528-9393. The restaurant fairly hums with energy in its hip restyled warehouse setting, and everything * from the service to the wines to the breads baked in-house * gets a lot of attention. But the centerpiece remains Chef Emeril Lagasse's stunning updates of the ripe and robust south Louisiana culinary tradition.

GALATOIRE'S RESTAURANT - 209 Bourbon Street, New Orleans 70116 Reservations (504) 525-2021. Since 1905, diners have raised their glasses to toast the good life at Galatoire's, an elegant New Orleans dining haven steeped in tradition. Galatoire's was named as one of the nation's Top 50 restaurants in the October, 2001 issue of Gourmet magazine, and has garnered many other awards during its 97-year-old history.

NEW ORLEANS GRILL - Located In The Windsor Court Hotel, 300 Gravier Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130 USA. Telephone: (504) 522-1992. When the legendary Grill Room was renamed the New Orleans Grill in October it also unveiled a million-dollar renovation, cementing its reputation as one of New Orleans top restaurants. New chef Jonathan Wright is still wowing high-end foodies with his “exquisite” Louisiana-influenced Contemporary American cuisine. The Grill Room was a former recipient of the prestigious American Automobile Association's five Diamond award for fine dining, rated 3 in the top 50 U.S. restaurants by Conde Nast Traveler, and listed as one of America's top restaurants in the US by Food and Wine Magazine and Zagat Restaurant Survey. It is a Mobil 5 Star restaurant and listed as the #1 restaurant in New Orleans by Gourmet Magazine.

Based on the designs of the original 1834 structure, K-Paul's has been extensively refurbished and expanded, which now offers seating for more than 200 seats. HONORABLE MENTION & LOCAL FAVORITES

EMBERS STEAK HOUSE - 700 Bourbon Street (corner of Bourbon & St. Peter), New Orleans, Louisiana 70123 Telephone: (504) 523-1485. The Embers (as locals call it) has long been the place to go to when you want to have have a serious steak AND enjoy the fun of Bourbon Street. With the largest balcony on Bourbon Street, the Embers offers a chance to watch the revelry of the French Qaurter and enjoy great steaks. Embers has long been known for their oversized prime rib which averages two pounds and comes with salad and a baked potato. Embers also tends to stay open late, perfect for a city that doesn't like to sleep!

TORTIRICI'S - 441 Rue Royal (corner of Royal & St.Louis), New Orleans, Louisiana 70123 Telephone: (504) 522-4295. When friends come to town (without reservations!) and want a great dinner in the French Quarter, we always send them to Tortorici's. This place is two doors down from Brennan's and a quiet delight. They greet you at the front door with a smile, immediately treating you to a glimpse of the impeccable service to come. The maitre de is extremely courteous as is the wait staff. Neither of the two is "pushy" and both seem to know the exact moment you're ready to order. The sauces are never too thick or thin. The crab cakes with artichokes appetizer and Chicken Tortorici is fantastic.
