Got to see J.C. play today. He is now playing for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans which is a High A team for the Braves. They were in Charleston playing the Yankee's A team here for an exhibition game they call the Coastal Clash. He only played 3 innings but they did manage to score 7 runs in 2 innings thanks to a couple solid hits by, the still little, second baseman. Hopefully we can all see him soon playing in the big leagues.
the braves farm system always has been one of the best in baseball, so they must think he can be really good if they took him
I saw him play for the Rome Braves several times. I always wore my LSU cap. He stopped me in the parking lot after the game and we talked LSU ball for a while.
