I was just reading the Georgia board and there seems to be a general feeling that the dawgs are really banged up. I haven't kept up on the opposition as much as I usually do so this is interesting to me. With this many injuries there must be some weak points to exploit. http://www.dawgrun.com/message_board/georgia/2008/October/22/547134.php
Looks like TE Chandler and MLB Ellerbe are most likely out. WR Durham might play but won't be 100 %. WLB Hebron dislocated his ankle in practice this week and is obviously out. LT Tripp is possibly out too. Tripp took over for Sturdivant (I assume), so that's not good. Ellerbe being out would be huge. We can exploit running up the middle a little more.
Where do you get your info? You might want to do a little more research before you make a bunch of false accusations. Chandler and Ellerbe both practiced this week in full pads and will be suiting up for the game Saturday. Durham is at 100%. And you think Ellerbe being out would be huge??? How can you even think that when his backup, Gamble, is #2 in tackles this season. hahaha. Go watch sportscenter kid.
Didn't Richt scale back the practices because of injuries??? Ellerbe might suit up but is still questionable and Gamble is likely to get most of the snaps. Also lost 2 more since Tuesday. Backup LB Hebron is out and TE White. In light of the other injuries and the suspensions I would say that UGA is pretty banged up for this game.
I read this morning that Richt did tone down the practice, not because of injuries, but so to spend more time watching video and talking about the upcoming game. I'll see if I can find where I read that. Also, here is a good article that I read about our upcoming game if you are interested: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/72107-creature-vs-creature-a-bulldog-on-georgia-lsu
Suiting up is not the same as Playing. And it is called a rotation....lets see when/ if Gamble goes out who is his back up ? Great first post on a board...
One of our very own members wrote the other side of that. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/72121-creature-vs-creature-a-tiger-on-lsu-georgia
