I went there today to go look at some shoes. Decided to go take a look upstairs and noticed their fishing section. To be honest with you, it blows bass pro out of the water. Obviously it does not have the scenery that bass pro has, but I would have never thought to go there for fishing accessories until today..

I'll have to check that out. We're getting a Dick's here in Biloxi within the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know how good the Dick's over here is.

It depends on the location, but I have never been overly impressed with Dick's. For that matter, I have never been overly impressed with BPS or Cabelas for fishing gear. In LA/MS/TX, I think Academy is the way to go for fishing equipment...and prices...for a chain store. But anytime I am anywhere near Puglia's in Metairie, THAT is the place to buy fishing gear. Chag's isn't bad either...if you're closer to Kenner.
