Just an FYI, the scouts have been through and the morning sky has several flocks of Canadians heading South.

I've read that there will be a lot of them this year. I have never seen any while hunting, but I will definetly be on the lookout. I love goose hunting, especially during the conservation season... E-calls and unplugged!

Speaking of waterfowl hunting. I came home the other day to a shiny new Chapman 2-man 'rogue that my 7-month pregnant wife bought me to go along with my yard pass to miss 2 Lamaze classes! New pirouge, new Nova, dog beginning to handle, and lots of birds in the forecast...Life is Good.

During Friday's big rainstorm I saw a flock of about 30 or 35 fly very low over me while I was stopped at a red light on Seigen Lane. I was tempted to step out of my truck and bring a couple of them down with my shotgun that I happened to have with me, It would have been very easy, Of course if I had done it I would probably be in jail
