Hey guys, just got back form a little mardi gras and gambling, etc.. Took in the sites at LSU (hadn't been there in 10 years), nice campus and the stadium addition looks good--can't wait till we play y'all in Nov.), also liked the baseball stadium. Didn't realize it was so close to the river. Nice town, Baton Rouge. Also went to Casino rouge and tj's ribs. N'awlins was great too. Where's the best place to get some gear? the union was closed cos of mardi gras and just wanted to get a souviner or two.

Mmmmm, TJ Ribs:) Did you see the Heisman Trophy?

I get my LSU gear at Tyger Gifts in Metairie (suburb of new Orleans). They have a website so you can shop online.

At the Mall Louisiana off of Bluebonnet there is a GREAT store called TigerMania, they have everything you can imagine LSU. I get all my gear there.
    Nothing but LSU stuff.

There is a Tiger Mania on Highland, just to the south of campus, too. Straight out the South gates.

Glad to her you had a good time BamaBengal.

Are you coming down for the Bama game? If so let me know and I'll give you directions to our tailgating spot. We always like to show our visitors a good time.

While I'm looking forward to the season, Bama worries me a little. They're going to be pissed from the NCAA penalties and have a chip on their shoulder. They're also going to be better than last year.

Glad you had a good time at Mardi Gras.

Thanks ADMIN, i do plan on coming to the game later this year (with a stop in Norman and Chapel Hill beforehand) and would love to see some of y'all. Can't wait to hear the noise, in fact, i've talked y'all up on other boards when the question of fn support and rowdiness came up--you would've been proud :). I don't mean to brag, i don't mean to boast and don't like butter on my breakfast toast but yeah, methinks the Tide will be a rollin' next year. If we can learn to cover a reciever here and there we'll be fine and it should be another balanced, tough year for the West. I think also it could turn out to be a pivitol year for CNS and the Tigers. Either they make a statement and show everyone their in it for the long haul and the 10 win seasons won't be going away or they stumble and finish with a mediocre record. Outside of Bama i pull for 'em but this year will say alot as last year did in proving they weren't a fluke and winning the SEC. Things seem to be shaping up for a few teams, ah the SEC, there's nothing like it!
