i would have figured that UF spent more on bball, but over twice? jeez. Florida spends the most on men's basketball among the Final Four participants. The Gators, who reached the Final Four in 2000, have total operating expenses of $4.8 million for men's basketball. LSU is third. The Tigers have total operating expenses of $2.217 million for its men's basketball team. http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060331/SPORTS0202/603310331/1001/SPORTS
I'm sorry, but what does expenses have to do with coaching ability? I agree that the two are about equal, but just because Florida has more cash to throw around than LSU, don't mean that Brady is doing twice the work the Florida guy is
I knew I could read! Salary means nothing I am sure a coach at a mid-major may be better than say Clemson's coach, but I know he don't make more money than Clemson's guy
i dont really think donovan is half the coach brady is. thought it was a decent teaser. but getting the same out of half the investment speaks well of cjb---granted its just one year.
I believe Donovan is a good coach. He put UF on the map quickly. Quicker than what Brady has done here but I don't think he had any scholarships taken away. What was the scholarship situation when Brady came here up until now? I don't know the full story of all that after Dale Brown left but I knew there was quite a mess left after Dale.
