Best Tex Mex in Louisiana?

2 tex mex places i absolutely love in louisiana are Superior Grill in B.R. and Casa Mannana in Lake Charles, anyone else have any good ones?

 

Love Superior, growing up in Shreveport it was a major group in the food pyramid.

I like La Carreta here in BR too.

 

I don't find Casa as good here since they opened the new restaurant south of town. The one south of town is better than Casa at it's peak though in my opinion. It's more casual though and very kid friendly.

I love superior in BR. Not so much for the food but the margaritas. My house was like 5 blocks from it in Capital Heights. Great party there every friday and saturday night. Man I miss that place.

 

i used to go to the Casa that was on Ryan i think? loved their nachos, and loved their salsa. Superior has this dish called the "puff taco" that is cheap as hell, and very good.

 

Superior Grill tops in Baton Rouge, haven't had tex mex anywhere else in the state.

 

The new one is called Que Pasa on Nelson Road. It's pretty good.

 

Best Tex Mex in Louisiana? That's an oxymoron isn't it?? :insane:
