Who is as excited as I am for this series this weekend? South Carolina is undefeated, but has played a high school schedule so far, with all games at home except for one trip to Clemson. The Tigers are looking great so far. I think the Tigers take 2 out of 3 from the Cocks. Any other predictions?

I say 2 of 3 and agree they haven't played anyone. Who have we played besides Tulane, really? And really, its TULANE. I know our in state competition is better than most but we aren't so tested. That being said...our team is the real deal based on their pitching/defense/hitting as a team. Team seems pretty fluent and cohesiveness which is a big plus this early not having to shift people around as smoke had to previous years. Should get a chemistry going like our previous champion teams.

I always thought Two-Lanes mascot should be the 'highways'.

We've played a good team in Houston who has knocked off Baylor, Rice, Long Beach St., Cal St. Fullerton, and we also played a good UCF team.

They took 1 of 3 from CSF @ Houston, 1 of 3 from LBS @ Houston, 1 of 1 from Baylor at Houston, 1 of 2 from Rice - won @ Houston, loss @ Rice. Their record is 7-12 but they have had a pretty Brutal schedule.

yes, great tests this early should bode well for postseason play. Maybe they can eat some rice.

my whole family is from south carolina and i was born there, but i went to LSU. usc/lsu games are a intra-family rivalry for my peeps. my hope is that LSU smokes south carolina in the final game of the CWS.

is it just me or is south carolina the least disagreeable of our SEC rivals? i mean cmon, compare s. carolina to auburn and ole miss!

Nobody really pays much attention to South Carolina because they have never been very good at anything other than the past few years in baseball. Its easy to like people when you always beat them!
