please show me one thing that is positive about these statistics. You can be optimistic all you want but here is the real story. And for all the guys who think they know so much about football (you know who you are), I challenge you to dispute these facts!

have you guys forgotten the days (last year) when LSU was 1st or 2nd in every defensive category and in the top 5 of all offense categories except QB efficiency.

    Positive... you want positive!
O.K., I'm positive that if Miles keeps playing not to lose in the second half, you'll have even more crazy stats to posts in the weeks to come...

your points are backed with stats and I am with you on the fact that miles is lost. We should fire him this year, but it won't happen b/c that will mean bertman will have to swallow his pride based on his arrogance that will not happen. I am really starting to question bertman as an ad based on his hiring practices. Get ready to be attacked by the homers that are not living in reality.

We will not have to worry becuase a change will happen by years end; currently the LSU administration is getting calls, emails from highly connected; large financial backers of LSU football. Skip is getting big time heat to start a confidential search so that we can minimize the "slide" which will be this year only! Miles is done; its obvious this is not they system, leadership to win the SEC or National Championship. There is too much on the line for the school to allow Les to drive in in the ground.

Jesus H.. even Ole Miss and Miss. State are better than us in some defensive stats. Truly shocking, given what we are used to from the Saban years.

As much as I want it to be true, I don't think miles will be gone by years end, but I am with on the financial implications we have around 80-100 million in bonds out on several projects and I don't think the powers would let us slip back to mediocrity(sp).

Considering most of the teams have played 4 games and we have only played 2 is what scares me. Look at the yardage given up in only 2 games and we are still last. We should be 1st since we only played 2 games. Look at the total yards given up with only 2 games.

As much as I have bashed Urban Meyer and the media hype, I'm afraid I'm wrong. I didn't think Florida would have a very good defense, but they are 1st in defense everywhere. We are going to get killed by Florida. Urban Meyer and Florida are for real.

I wish we could've gotten him and his staff. Although Jamarcus wouldn't be good in that style of offense due to his mobility.

Man, I had to take away one of those red dots, I was just about to make the same arguement he made a few posts up. :)

It's real easy to put up good stats when you have a couple of cupcakes to snack on. All of LSU stats have come against top 15 competition, whereas the likes of Ole Miss, Miss State, and pretty much EVERYONE else in the conference has had AT LEAST one sleepwalking game. Let's see how these stats compare after Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
