It's that time of year. NFL Draft is among us. What do you think the Saints should do in the draft? Defense? Do they draft the best player available regardless of position? Who would you like to see them draft?

First thought that pops up in my head is defense....DB to be more specific.

maybe we could trade the first round draft pick for Laron :thumb:

First it depends on what FA they sign then evaluate the prospects at the combine and their workouts at their campuses.I think you go in going for position of need and you would think Defense first but depending on who may unexpectedly fall to your spot then you may take Best Available. I think the Saints need help on both sides of the Lines adding depth and better production. I know I will take heat for this but I wish there was a better choices in Safeties this draft so we could update both FS and SS and move Roman Harper to OLB kind of like how Thomas Davis from Georgia has done. I know alot of people have the Saints drafting CB Malcom Jenkins from Ohio State but I'm not sold him at all especially after seeing against Florida.DJ Moore and Vontae Davis right now are better CBs than Jenkins IMO.

I wouldn't mind getting Ray Maleuga, or however you spell his name, from USC.

I don't see any certainty at the DB position in the draft. Jenkins is gone by the time we pick, so i don't think any other DB is worth the 14th pick.

Not familiar with Moore, but Davis is the younger brother of 49er TE Vernon Davis, and (some say) is the same type of person, phenomenal athlete, no work ethic.

Like I said, there's no certainty in the draft for DBs this year outside Jenkins.

    If you say so.

Everywhere I look those guys are both taken around the 10-18 range.

But I trust your crystal ball kinda/sorta.
