Would you say the same thing about Oklahoma and Kentucky yesterday? Were they flat? Or Va Tech losing to Old Dominion were they flat? And totally disagree about your view of our talent level right now. Ga, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Penn St, Fla, A&M, Michigan and Texas has equal to better talent.

I guess we just disagree on talent. I think we’re loaded across the board. Lines are slightly thin but again I’ll take what we have over all those teams except I put us even with Georgia.

I don’t think Oklahoma came out flat but their d shit the bed and Texas played as well as they could have. Didn’t watch enough Kentucky to say one way or the other. I do know that our D played very flat with no push on the line and no pressure on the qb with shitty tackling to boot.

Would definately be a major upset but this is the SEC. Did anyone think Moo U would destroy Aub? People were thinking Moo U was not that good after loss to Fla so maybe Fla is better than we thought.

Jimbos hiring immediately turned around A&M’s class last year. So quickly eyebrows were raised. So far this year he has quite the haul coming in as well. Yes Georgia is in a talent rich state that gets picked at by a lot more than just GaTech. Clemson has quite the presence there. But Georgia is now coming into to Louisiana and nabbing our guys. Kirby has it going on in terms of recruiting.

Orgeron is, has been and will continue to get his chance.

Underclassmen leaving isn’t anything new at LSU, or unique to O’s tenure. LSU has lost over 30 underclassmen since 2012.

Or maybe Auburn is much worse than we thought?

I think Moo U and Auburn are both middle of the pack teams. No big shocker there. Same with Kentucky/A&M and UF/LSU. All 6 of these teams are middle of the road and can beat each other on any given Saturday.

Now beating Bama and/or Georgia is a true upset.

I don’t think Texas beating OU was an upset either. OU’s defense is dreadful. OU was overrated at #7 and now UT is overrated at #9. But, there had to be a 7 and there has to be a 9 so, meh.

We will do fine after 2 more recruiting classes maybe even one. Coaching staff also need more time to develop our players and O&D schemes.

I just miss the days of dominating defense line play. I hope Orgeron gets us some talent and depth there again like the good old days.
