    Kiki

you can support a coach and question some of their decisions at the same time. One is not mutually exclusive of the other.

I loved Coach Miles as our coach and still do but I questioned some of his decisions. Game management, Clock management, offensive philosophy etc. But I would to this day if I had a kid would want him to play for coach Miles any day. He did a lot ofor LSU and was treated badly by the ad and administration.

Thanks for your reply Calco. I do question our coaches if you could see or remember my past post. I too was a huge Miles fan but gave up on him his last 2 years and posted many negative things about how Miles turned into Cholly Mac. As far as the current coach and staff I have questioned them. I questioned O's choice for OC with Matt Canada and his handling of that situation. I have questioned Aranda for some of his calls. E is another story however. E has done as best anyone could with what I see as a bad hand being dealt to him. Next year is when I think I can fairly judge E as he will have a deeper and much improved offense from a players standpoint. O can also be fairly judged next year to. But unlike some here I wont expect us to go 15-0 every year or we must fire the coach. We are in the toughest foot ball conference and the toughest division of that conference. Some here think that if we have top 10 or top 5 recruiting classes we should be undefeated every year, I don't. If that's the measure than let's forget the season and mail the trophy to the winner of the recruiting wars. Problem is everyone in the SEC will have great players. Bama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Florida will have players as good or better than us. Auburn will not be far behind us either.

You it seems for 1. We go 10-3 finish in #6 and you cant seem to find anything positive to say about both O and especially E. No one including you expected LSU to finish as high as we did at the start of the season. I was one who thought we would be 7-5 or at best 8-4. We all know what you think of E and O. Did you expect us to go 12-0 last year?

Its a pretty unfair question; certainly nobody expected 12-0, 14-0, however many games are involved. A fair question to ask everyone - I think - is: Did the team meet, exceed or fail to reach, your expectations from the beginning of the season? Deal with individual components like offense and defense later. Just in general: did 10-3 and a #6 final ranking meet, exceed, or fail to reach expectations? My answer would be; the record is about right, the ranking exceeds expectations.

    Yep.

In review, Oeaux, with half way decent offense, could have beaten A&M and UF... and maybe scored on Bama!

    Incorrect on all counts.

I have always been in the "give him a chance " club when it comes to O. I was surely not impressed with the hire but i also realize that by the time Alleva had fucked off our chances with anyone better it was pretty much all we could do. Like i said, willing to give him a chance. So far its not a shit show.

The season, im with everyone else, pleasantly surprised they made a spash but surely didn't expect a 0 in the loss column and not sure where you got that from because ive never said that.

Your boy E. He is unimaginative and simple. You can hoot and holler about Tight Ends and the line this and the running backs that and at the end of the day the offense will still have laid a turd. Ensminger will still be running the same crap that got him fired at every other place he has been an OC.

You act as if the guy is a clone of Mike Leach (which im sure you will say something stupid like he is better than the pirate) and he is not. Let it be. I for one am begging him to prove us all wrong and YOU of all people right.

Just not a lot of promise in it.

Carry on Moe, try the orange crayons once in a while, hear they taste like fudge.

10-3 definately exceeded my expectations. We werent supposed to beat Miami, Aub, Bama and Georgia. Thought we just might upset Aub but also thought we could get upset by either Miss St or A&M or both. Based all this on all the worn out reasons I have been pounding on here for a year i.e. lack of a cohesive OL, average RB's and on and on. Keep in mind we started the season with an untested transfer QB who in my opinion was coached very well by E to do the things he did last year without having a spring and summer on the campus. As I said 7-5 or 8-4 at best last year. Also if you thought we would be 10-3 at the start of the season you were definitely in the minority. It's all moot right now next year will tell us a lot about O and especially about E.
