On "Jim Rome is Burning" Rome just warned Michigan to stop whining about not getting a rematch with OSU and get ready for LSU. Lloyd Carr is like 2 and 9 in "big" games the last few years and a loss to LSU, coached by a Bo Shembechler(sp?) protoge and a team that came in 2nd in the SEC West would mean the start of a "www.lloydcarrneedstospendmoretimewithhisfamily.com."
Analysis of LSU from a Michigan fan: He makes points I can't argue with: other than the running game being "weak". It was to start the year... of that there is NO doubt. http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=ncaa&id=130&tid=247079&lid=15
That UM fan has no clue. Please tell me he did not just say that Mario Manningham will have 125 yards recieving.
I don't think he's giving the passing game nearly enough credit. I think the only thing that he can actually substantiate is the turnover margin. He can't support his statements about Hart and, as you pointed out, the running game comment is out-of-date.
Against Arkansas we attempted the Bowe WR screen waaaaaaaay too many times... but it's clear what type of plays that our OC prefers to run. He said Hart was going to have a tough game running the football...
He didn't.. he said "one 25 yard TD pass)" Did you forget that Meachem had 2 bombs from Crompton in the UT game? Did you forget that JPW passed for close to 300 against us as well? I don't see where him saying that is so out of whack.
