1. Now that it seems that Florida is better able to run their offense this year, do you think that Pellini would be able to figure out an optimal way to stifle it?

  2. yes...

ULL did it and had no success

I know ULL is no florida, but they have been running it for a while now...

Florida will have more beef up front and more speed, but all-in-all, I just dont think this offense can work against us, because we dont have to go in a dime, because Landry and Daniels are so good
  3. Maybe we were watching a different game, but Alabama did a great job shutting it down, they just kept throwing interceptions and blown coverages on a few plays.

I guess, yes with the speed of the SEC I still think this offense wont work, but hey I am usually wrong about many things.
  4. I agree. For once, scheduling ULL might actually be useful! :thumb:
  5. One other key element iis to contain Tebow and play discipline defense.

The challenge for the defense is getting me pumped up......

  6. The key is to have very good D linemen, and we have great ones. If you can plug holes and penetrate, you will disrupt their offense. Also, our team speed will be a big difference. Bama basically shut down Florida but tackling killed them. Their offense sets up players to have to make open field tackles, and if we do it we will have no problems.
  7. it looks like there rb wynn might be out for the game so that helps....i am very confident in whatever pelini puts together for next weekend....I cant wait.
  8. Beckwith is about as sure a tackler as they come!
  9. If Alabama can contain them somewhat along with Tenn, I don't think LSU will have a problem. The defense is just too fast and hopefully Pellini gives Leak some fake blitzes and fall back into coverage and show him coverage but blitz at the last minute.

I don't really see that offense being extremely successful in the SEC. It will win games and keep some lesser defenses guessing and on their heels but a good defense will limit them. Didn't LSU shut them down last year, but we were catching their signals too?

A lot of those plays take time to develop and I think our D is fast enough to thwart the develpment of the plays. Plus you know if Tebow is in at QB you know what the play is.

I really don't understand why Leak is still so high in the the Heisman and JR is never even mentioned.

I have to admit after watching JR and then watching other QB's on Saturday, there is no QB in NCAA that is more accurate. In the big games he may make a bone head move at times and lose his mechanics, but if he is comfortable in the pocket, he is the best in NCAA.
